Mission
Florida C.H.A.I.N. Inc. (Community Helping Animals in Need) is a grass-roots non-profit organization 501(c) 3, dedicated to saving the lives of precious animals. Our mission: to coordinate and subsidize emergency veterinary care for owned, orphaned, or abandoned dogs and cats, where financial hardship necessitates our assistance. A secondary mission is to keep pets from being dumped or placed in shelters due to an owner’s inability to provide necessary food and/or accommodations, physical or behavioral, thereby enabling the animals to remain in their own safe homes.
In addition to the above, we provide the following services: Distribution of pet food and some medications to needy households, and pet re-homing assistance in both directions. We operate a Facebook page entitled, “Pet Matches for Villagers and Area” to help to place orphaned or unwanted domestic pets.
When you donate your money or time/talents, you become an integral link of “THE CHAIN GANG”, folks like yourselves who care to save lives and alleviate pain for animals in need and their grateful owners.
